Since 1996, Kacha Stones has specialised in ethically mined crystals. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for preserving the crystal's energy. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the resulting debris does not yield the best crystals or gemstones.
Most crystal shops use 'ethically mined', but this is only possible by buying directly from miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
