Ethically hand-mined Brandberg Quartz

55mm ~ 2 1/4" ~ 6 grams

This is not the easiest Master Self-Healed to identify if you are unfamiliar with the formation, which is almost everyone, because these are so rare... even if it wasn't a Brandberg Generator Enhydro. When these formations are taken together, it's not unrealistic to say this crystal is unique. The proof is that you won't find another on Google's millions of 'crystal healing' pages.

The fracture line (marked in the second image) has a cloud band, layering, and localised curvature—all indicate the Master Self-Healed formation. Just above this line are 2 tiny moving bubbles. I put a little sticker on the crystal to help you find one initially. Tilt from side to side, and your eye will be drawn to the movement. The other bubble is between the marked one and the fracture clouding.

The thinner point, the lower one in the first image, is a perfect Generator. This is where all faces meet in a single point.

“Another type of self-healed crystal is one which has been broken (exhibiting the break in the horizontal plane, or close to the horizontal strata), with the break being healed and the crystal structure being again complete. This crystal is the master crystal in the art of self-healing." Melody, Love is in the Earth.

"Generators are "THE" quartz crystal for energy generation and for stimulating all portions of the physical, intellectual, emotional and subtle bodies. Natural generators and crystals polished in the configuration of generators have the same properties - they are truly powerful tools for the metaphysician." Melody, Love is in the Earth.

Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for keeping the crystal's energy intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the remains does not produce the best crystals.

Nearly all crystal shops now claim their crystals are 'ethically mined', but you only know where and how it was mined if you buy from the miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
