Ethically hand-mined by Kacha Stones near Talley Abbey in West Wales (UK) in approximately 2005.

This is an unusually formed Welsh quartz DT; the flat end is intact with growth interference. Celtic Quartz crystals are rare crystals—I hand-mined them myself.
Welsh quartz is highly significant in Welsh mythology and folklore. Celtic Britain's rich history is associated with ancient magic and the Faery Kingdom.

Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for keeping the crystal's energy intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the remains does not produce the best crystals. I mined this myself with nothing more than a trowel.
