Ethically hand-mined by Kacha Stones near Talley Abbey in West Wales (UK) in approximately 2005.

This unusual Welsh crystal is actually 3 very bright and clear crystals emerging from a milky quartz matrix—I hand-mined it myself. Sometimes I like to offer crystals exactly as they come out of the ground, so this crystal has brought a bit of Wales with it. This can be scratched off to reveal more of the bright crystals, but I think these have a strong, earthed energy.
Welsh quartz is significant in Welsh mythology and folklore. Celtic Britain's rich history is associated with ancient magic and the Faery Kingdom.

Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for keeping the crystal's energy intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the remains does not produce the best crystals. I mined this myself with nothing more than a trowel.
