Crystals and Pyramids

Many books have been written on the subject of crystals and their properties, but the underlying principles of why crystals really are Stones of Power are often completely neglected. It may be a mystery, but it's no secret!

Let's take a look at the kind of knowledge that was previously the exclusive domain of the adepts and initiates of the mystery schools.

Crystalline structures are defined by their regular shape. A crude example would be that the difference between a pile of sand (also mostly quartz) and a quartz crystal, is that in the crystal the silicon and oxygen molecules are arranged in a mathematically precise, rigid structure. This geometric precision and harmony have been investigated and utilised by many cultures, most famously, the ancient Egyptians.

The seventh wonder of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid at Giza is a triumph of engineering that cannot be repeated with any number of computer-aided graphics or massive machinery.

There is no doubt that every civilisation which built pyramids did so with the use of highly advanced mathematical and astronomical calculations and a seemingly impossible mastery of the skill of stone masonry. In civilisations separated not only by thousands of miles but also by thousands of years, stones weighing many tons were hoisted into position with infinite precision. The most extraordinary feat of engineering was that of the cutting and placement of the highly polished limestone casing stones that covered the entire pyramid. The finished pyramid contained approximately 115,000 of these stones, each weighing ten tons or more. These stones were dressed on all six of their sides, not just the side exposed to the visible surface, to tolerances of .01 inch. They are set together so closely that a thin razor blade cannot be inserted between the stones.

 

What effect this ratio has on the body, mind and consciousness is another vast subject, but the fact remains..... every angle and measurement of the Great Pyramid reflects the mathematical proportion that has been contemplated and utilised by seers for thousands of years.

The Great Pyramids height is the square root of the golden section (1,272) and its slant is the golden section (1.618) if the base is considered 1. The Kings Chambers is 10.46 meters East to West, 5.23 meters North to South and 5.81 meters high, thus perfectly reflects phi.

At this point, many of you may be wondering what all this has to do with those pretty little quartz crystals?

Here we see a quartz crystal (this one is double terminated, but any will do), with the Great Pyramid placed at its tip. This clearly shows that the angle of incline on both structures is the same Golden Proportion when the value for the base is taken as one.

The profound qualities and geometric beauty possessed by the Great Pyramid are at least partially present in the tiniest and most humble quartz crystal. The tips of all quartz crystals are angled exactly like the Great Pyramid - 360/7 or 5l.43 degrees.

The old crystal radios showed the ability of quartz to receive and transmit energy, in this case, radio waves. This has been utilised by mystics and the electronics industry alike.

Although much research remains to be done in the areas of archaeology, mathematics and earth sciences, much evidence now exists that appears to indicate that the Great Pyramid was a monumental device for gathering, amplifying, and focusing a transformative energy field. What is known is that this energy field acts in powerful ways. A dead mouse or grape is dehydrated and preserved perfectly, even in high humidity and the crystalline structured edge of a razorblade is re-aligned to form a sharp edge.
