This bright 28mm Welsh Quartz DT was ethically hand mined near Talley Abbey in West Wales (UK) in 2012.
Set in Sterling silver with a 9ct solid gold bail.
Our unique approach to mining these rare Welsh crystals produces exceptionally energetic jewellery. Celtic Quartz is becoming increasingly rare and is mined exclusively by Kacha Stones with nothing more than a trowel. No dynamite, heavy machinery... or even a pick. Eco-friendly mining at its friendliest!
Since 1996, Kacha Stones has specialised in ethically mined crystals. Ethical sourcing is important for the environment and mining communities and for keeping the crystal's energy intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the rubble does not produce the best crystals.
Most crystal shops use the "ethically mined" prefix, which is only possible by buying directly from miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
