A 38mm raw Super 7 crystal in a handmade silver pendant. This energetic and increasingly rare healing stone is also known as Melody's Stone and Sacred 7.
Melody discovered this remarkable crystal in the '70s. It was found at a single location in Fundão, Espírito de Santos, Brazil. Around 1980, the original mine was flooded, and production stopped. Thankfully, small deposits were found close to the original find, and though rare, real Super 7 is still available today.
"Super 7 is a combination of amethyst, cacoxenite, lepidocrocite, clear quartz, rutile and smoky quartz. Even though each piece may not show each mineral, all the pieces carry the energy of all seven minerals. The Super Seven never needs cleansing or energising. Used to promote telekinetic pursuits, telepathy, clairaudience, awareness-channelling, universal creativity, to further healing on all levels.” Melody, Love is in the Earth.
"Reported to have the highest vibration of any crystal yet found and manifesting to assist the evolution of the earth, Super 7 is a spiritual powerhouse and an extremely soothing and nurturing crystal. In addition to carrying the generic properties of Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, Quartz, Rutile, Goethite, Lepidocrocite and Cacoxenite, it opens metaphysical abilities. This stone purifies, balances, and energises all the chakras and auric bodies, aligning them to the highest vibrations. A powerful stone for healing. Super 7 never requires cleansing or re-energising. Supporting and heightening the vibration of any other crystal in its vicinity, the smallest piece carries the vibration of the whole. Small points are now available that are extremely powerful for self-healing." Judy Hall, Encyclopedia of Crystals.
Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for preserving the crystal's energy. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the remains does not produce the best crystals.
Nearly all crystal shops use 'ethically mined', but you only know where and how it was mined if you buy from the miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
