A beautifully coloured, ethically mined Blue Flash Labradorite hand-set in Sterling silver. A fully hand-forged and unique 'rustic' pendant.
Labradorite is a mesmerising gemstone, known for its captivating beauty and unique optical phenomenon. One of the most captivating features of labradorite is its labradorescence, also known as schiller or iridescence. When light interacts with the internal layers of the gemstone, it creates stunning flashes of vibrant colours, such as blues, greens, yellows, and purples. These spectral colours seem to dance and shift as the gem is viewed from different angles, giving Labradorite a magical and ever-changing appearance.
Since 1996, Kacha Stones has specialised in ethically mined crystals. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for keeping the crystal's energy vibrant and intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the rubble does not produce the best crystals.
Most crystal shops use the "ethically mined" prefix, which is only possible by buying directly from miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
