The 5-sided Isis face and its opposite face both exhibit a rare form of growth interference, characterised by 'curved' raised etching. Unusually, the bottom edge of the Isis face has a single, highly raised triangle - the rare Record Keeper formation. This is created when quartz grows in calcite, a much softer, water-soluble mineral that dissolves, leaving one of the most underrated and powerful quartz types.

There are bright red Harlequin flecks of lepidocrocite and exceptional, large 'internal' rainbows on either side of the Isis face. This crystal isn't just rare, it's unique. The proof would be trying to find another calcite growth interference Record Keeper.
