Occasionally, the entire tip of a crystal re-grows and is identified by unusual curvature of all faces' sides and planes. Master self-healed (horizontal healing of a fractured shaft), can be likened to re-joining a dismembered limb and is generally considered the ultimate self-healing. However, the type of healing this crystal exhibits is like growing another head. In other words, it forms a new tip. An interesting characteristic of this extremely rare self-healing is that they often form as generators, where all face sides meet at the apex. This is an excellent example, having formed a perfect skeletal generator. We only really understand actual rarity (as opposed to sales copy) when we try to find another. This relatively humble-looking crystal is factually rare.
