Handmade with Love at Kacha Stones

20mm x 25mm

A unique Sterling silver and 24k gold pendant set with a Paraiba Tourmaline and three Grandidierites. This unique Keum-boo (a special method of applying 24k gold leaf) design is created using 24k gold. Keum-boo is an ancient Korean gilding technique.

Grandidierite is considered one of the rarest gemstones in the world. Its scarcity contributes to its allure and desirability among collectors and gem enthusiasts. It's often used in custom-designed pieces for those seeking something truly special.

The unique colour of Paraiba tourmaline is attributed to its copper content, which absorbs and reflects light in a way that gives the gem its signature glow. Discovered in the state of Paraíba in Brazil, and the name has become synonymous with this extraordinary gemstone.

Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important for the environment and mining communities and preserves the crystal's sought-after energy, otherwise disrupted by large-scale destructive mining.

Most crystal shops use the "ethically mined" prefix, which is only possible by buying directly from miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners... from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
