Over the last few years, this beautiful combination has become increasingly rare. Most mines in the region have closed, and new finds are almost unheard of. This crystal is in good condition with a fully self-healed base. The crystal appears darker in the pictures than in person; it is fully translucent.

These remarkable crystals come in different grades, largely dependent on the quality of the garnets. This has darker, smaller garnets, so this rare and energetic formation is a fraction of the usual price. One garnet is shown with an orange arrow; the blue arrow shows the growth interference created by a garnet that fell off. This indentation is what you look for as a guarantee of the formation being genuine. Unfortunately, sticking value-adding crystals on a regular crystal is not unheard of.
