Over the last few years, 'garnet quartz' has become increasingly rare. Most mines in the region have closed, and new finds are almost unheard of.

This crystal is in good condition, a perfect Generator (where all face sides meet in a single point) and is fully translucent. This unique example is also one of the very rarest crystals, Manifestation quartz. This is not 'uncommon', it's genuinely rare. Most of the internal garnets are marked with arrows.

A Manifestation crystal is defined as a small crystal being fully encased in a larger one. It typically refers to quartz in quartz. They are beautiful, mystical and extremely rare. Very occasionally, a crystal different to that of its host appears in this way. Orange Garnets fully encased in smoky quartz are among the most magical and energetic manifestation crystals ever seen.
