This precisely faceted, 12-sided Vogel has been skillfully handcrafted from an amazingly bright, flawless Himalayan Quartz crystal.
Not only is it difficult to find perfectly flawless crystals to cut this size Vogel, but cutting and polishing can sometimes damage the crystal, especially when working with longer, slender Vogels like this, making a perfect, flawless Vogel this size even rarer.
The wider end of all our Vogels is hand-cut to 51°, creating Phi, Φ, the Golden Ratio, the Divine Proportion. This Golden Ratio of beauty and perfection manifests throughout nature and the human body, from a tiny flower to a spiralling galaxy.
"The crystal is a neutral object whose inner structure exhibits a state of perfection and balance. When it's cut to the proper form and when the human mind enters into a relationship with its structural perfection, the crystal emits a vibration that extends and amplifies the power of the user's mind. Like a laser, it radiates energy in a coherent, highly concentrated form, and this energy may be transmitted into objects or people at will." Marcel Vogel.
The perfect clarity of these Vogels has understandably led to questions about whether this quartz is natural or lab-created. I can guarantee that this Vogel is NOT lab-created quartz but cut from a natural, hand-mined crystal. One Etsy customer had a lab test performed to confirm this, and I'm happy to provide the lab test results for this verified purchase if requested.
Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for preserving the crystal's energy. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the remains does not produce the best crystals.
Most crystal shops use 'ethically mined', but this is only possible by buying directly from miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
