Ethically hand-mined Brandberg Quartz
115mm ~ 4 1/4" ~ 363 grams
This larger Brandberg has amethyst and black phantoms, exceptional self-healing and some stationary bubbles. These are not easy to find, so one is marked in the pictures.
"Black Phantom Quartz Crystals are very unusual. They provide the energy of the quartz, coupled with the property of grounding; this grounding is via the perfect alignment of the physical energy centres, which occurs with the use of this mineral. Hence, with a black phantom crystal, one does not require an additional stone for grounding."
"The phantom is an excellent tool for meditation and for assisting one in connecting with the higher realms of knowledge. It can also be used to access the records of one’s progression through past lives.” Melody, Love is in the Earth.
There are a few bright red Harlequin flecks of lepidocrocite and both amethyst and smoky phantoms.
"Harlequin Quartz provides a beautiful "dancing" energy. It further stimulates the healing qualities of the heart." Melody, Love is in the Earth.
“If I have to pick my favourite quartz, it would be Brandberg Quartz! They are magic in a crystal!” The Crystal Bible, Judy Hall.
"A stunning and unique variety of Quartz crystal found only in Namibia, Africa - a mystic blend of Amethyst, Clear and Smoky Quartz together in one exceedingly high-vibrational crystal. Formed where powerful Earth meridians cross, this mineral is imbued with remarkable phantoms, enhydros, and other rare formations and inclusions. It is a potent talisman. Brandberg Amethyst attunes to pure consciousness and is the most versatile and multi-dimensional healing tool on the planet, unparalleled in its beauty, energy and light.” Judy Hall.
Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for preserving the crystal's energy. Blasting a hole and collecting the remains does not produce the best crystals.
Nearly all crystal shops now use 'ethically mined', but you only know where and how it was mined if you buy from the miners. For nearly 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
