A one-off hand-forged Dendrite Opal butterfly pendant that can be worn either way to emphasise the butterfly or stone.
This large Dendritic Opal allows for a life-size, beautifully realistic butterfly with solid gold accents on the back.
Dendritic opal, sometimes referred to as dendritic agate or moss opal, is a unique and captivating variety of opal known for its distinctive dendritic, tree-like, or mossy inclusions. The most distinguishing feature of dendritic opal is the presence of dendritic or tree-like inclusions that appear to be captured within the gemstone. These inclusions often resemble the delicate branches of trees, moss, or ferns and are typically black, brown, or green against a translucent or opaque background.
Kacha Stones is the original ethically mined crystal shop, trading since 1996. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities, but also for keeping the crystal's energy intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the rubble does not produce the best crystals.
