What sets Biwa pearls apart is their irregular and asymmetrical shapes. These unique shapes give each pearl an individual character and contribute to its organic appeal. Some Biwa pearls display colour overtones or iridescence, adding to their beauty.
Since 1996, Kacha Stones has specialised in ethically mined crystals. Ethical sourcing is important not only for the environment and mining communities but also for preserving the crystal's energy. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the rubble does not produce the best crystals.
Most crystal shops now use the phrase 'ethically mined,' but this is only possible when buying directly from the source. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
