A large and richly coloured hexagonal natural Pink Sapphire in a hand-forged Sterling silver bangle.
Pink sapphires are considered relatively rare compared to other colours of sapphires. While blue sapphires are the most well-known and commonly found, pink sapphires are considered more unique and sought after. The rarity of pink sapphires is primarily due to their limited availability in nature.
Since 1996, Kacha Stones has specialised in ethically mined crystals. Ethical sourcing is important for the environment and mining communities and for keeping the crystal's energy intact. Blasting a hole in the earth and collecting the rubble does not produce the best crystals.
Most crystal shops use the "ethically mined" prefix, which is only possible by buying directly from miners. For 30 years, we have worked directly with miners from the icy slopes of the Himalayas to the arid deserts of Namibia.
